The colt is out of Well Dressed, a stakes-winning Notebook mare who has already produced graded stakes winners Witty, by Distorted Humor, and the aforementioned Well Armed, who recently retired as Tiznow's leading earner with $5,171,009 in career earnings. A two-time Grade 1 winner, Well Armed is best known for his record-breaking 14-length triumph in the 2009 Dubai World Cup (G1).

“He looks like Well Armed when he was a foal and has everything you would want to see in a new baby,” said Bill Casner, who owns Well Dressed. “He weighted 136 lbs and is very correct at this stage. He nursed within an hour and took several laps in the paddock the first day. I was fortunate enough to be at the farm to witness the foaling – the experience always amazes me. Well Dressed is the perfect mama.”
