$300K Harlan’s Holiday colt at Midlantic sale

Harlan’s Holiday had one of the top five highest priced colts at the May 20-21 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-olds in training sale in Timonium, Md., with hip No. 293 going for $300,000 to Joseph Moss, one of the sale’s most prominent buyers.

Trainer Nick Zito signed the ticket on behalf of his client. Consigned by Northwest Stud, agent, the bay colt named Harlan’s Storm, is out of the Quiet American mare Hurricane Love, a half-sister to Fortitude, winner of the Grade 3 Belmont Breeders’ Cup H. Harlan’s Storm’s third dam is the 2-year-old champion filly Outstandingly.
