$370K at Fasig-Tipton for Spring at Last juvy

A 2-year-old Spring at Last filly sold for a healthy $370,000 at the inaugural Fasig-Tipton Summer Selected Horses of Racing Age sale held July 15 in central Kentucky. The figure tied for third-highest of the auction.

The filly, named Spring Along and consigned by Paramount Sales, agent, as hip No. 370, broke her maiden in style first time out, winning by 6 3/4-lengths at Parx. The winning bidder was Off the Hook LLC.

Kentucky bred Spring Along is out of the New Zealand bred stakes winner Connate, who also has produced the stakes placed Hamiltonian (by Bellamy Road).  

Spring at Last finished 2012 as the second leading sire on the Freshman List, and is once again in the top 10 this year on the Second Crop sire list. He stood the 2013 for $15,000 LFS&N.
