Consigned by Eaton Sales, agent, as hip No. 52, the dark bay filly went to Godolphin USA. The filly’s dam, Sacristy, won the Old Hat S. (G3) and was three-time Grade 2-placed. The deep female family includes graded stakes winners Jersey Town, Jersey Girl, Purge, Valid Wager and Valid Expectations.
Tiznow has been one of the leading sales sires of this century, and the trend has continued this year with his $2.45 million colt at the OBS April 2-year-old sale, the highest price paid for a juvenile at auction in 2017.
