Colonel John, who stood at WinStar Farm this year for $15,000 LFS&N, is in the top 5 on the First Year Sire list in both earnings and number of stakes horses.
Bred in Florida by Rick Sutherland, the bay colt was a $110,000 auction buy at the 2012 Keeneland September Yearling sale.
