Bellamy Road Filly Destroys Field in $130,000 Stakes

Sisterly Love showed no love to her six rivals, drawing off to an 8 1/2 length victory in the $130,735 Trillium Stakes at Woodbine on June 8th.

With her inaugural added-money victory, she became the 15th stakes winner from the first three crops by Bellamy Road.

Sisterly Love led at every call, and increased her lead throughout, winning “handily” in 1:43 for 8 1/2 furlongs on the main track, just 4/5 off the Woodbine track record.

The bay filly out of Odylic, by Dixieland Band, Sisterly Love boosted her record to 7-4-0-1, and earnings to $193,295. Sisterly Love was bred in Kentucky by Kinsman Stud, and races for Gary Barber. Trained by Mark Casse, she was ridden to victory by E. R. Da Silva.

Across the country on the same day, Bellamy Road’s Graded stakes-winning son All Squared ran second by just a length, while giving four pounds to the winner, in the $200,000 Charles Whittingham Memorial S. (G2). All Squared Away has a lifetime record of 22-4-5-3 and $374,809.
