Bodemeister 2yo still undefeated after allowance victory

Obvious One has been a conspicuous winner of both his starts, the latest tally for the 2-year-old son of Bodemeister coming by 5 3/4-lengths in a six-furlong allowance race Oct. 14 at Thistledown.

A 6 1/2-furlong maiden winner in his debut on Sept. 19, Obvious One ran a carbon copy of that win on Friday, taking control of the race at about the midway point and dominating the competition the rest of the way.

Obvious One, out of the three-time stakes winner Cecilia’s Crown, was bred in Kentucky by Classic Thoroughbred and owned by his trainer Jason DaCosta.

The bay juvenile is Bodemeister’s second multiple winner from his first crop, joining Astoria S. winner Bode’s Dream.
