Distorted Humor’s son Sharp Humor has figured prominently among the First-Crop Sire leaders all season long. Currently, the WinStar stallion sits in 3rd place with 13 winners and nearly $570,000 in progeny earnings to date.
A colt named Brickyard Fast will be looking to add to those totals this weekend at Keeneland when he takes his spot in the starting gate for the 97th running of the Gr.1 Breeders’ Futurity. The son of Sharp Humor has so far compiled a record of 2 wins, 1 second and 1 third from 4 lifetime starts.
The talented juvenile comes in fresh and dangerous off a very useful first level Allowance win at Remington Park after a two month hiatus. Brickyard Fast’s 10-length Maiden victory in June at Lone Star Park resulted in a lofty 87 Beyer and that figure is tops in the field of 11 colts and geldings.
