Spirited bidding during the early part of the first day of the OBS March Sale of Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training brought a final price of $725,000 for a filly by Congrats, who was A. P. Indy’s leading Juvenile sire of 2014.
The price was the third-highest paid for a filly during the first session of the March 17-18 sale. Consigned by Eddie Woods, the chestnut juvenile was bought by C. F. Farms.
Bred in Kentucky by WinStar Farm, the filly is out of the Deputy Minister mare Christie Village. Her second dam is Felicita, who is also the granddam of WinStar stallion Take Charge Indy.
