Darren Fox named Stallion Seasons Director
Monday, June 03, 2013

WinStar Farm has appointed Darren Fox as the new Stallion Seasons Director. Fox comes to WinStar after working on the stallion nominations team at Darley America for the last four years.

“I am really looking forward to bringing Darren’s energy, horsemanship and passion to our team at WinStar,” said Elliott Walden, WinStar President & CEO. “The expectations are high, and I am confident the baton will be passed from Gerry (Duffy) to Darren in a seamless transition.”

A native of Ireland, Fox has a degree in Equine Science and a Masters in Entrepreneurship from the University of Limerick, and he’s also a graduate of the Darley Flying Start program. Fox will be in charge of selling and managing seasons for WinStar's expanded roster of stallions.

“First of all, I would like to thank everyone at Darley for the incredible opportunities they have afforded me, both during Flying Start and as a member of the nominations team,” said Fox. “WinStar has established its place as one of North America’s leading stallion operations, and it will be a privilege to work with the likes of Speightstown, Tiznow, Bodemeister, and others. I am very much looking forward to working with the team at WinStar, and continuing to offer the same excellent level of service to its clients.”
