A filly by leading sales sire Distorted Humor brought a winning bid of $575,000 during Wednesday’s session of the April 25-28 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training.
The filly’s bid was the third-highest during the session and fifth over the first two days.
Hip No. 383 was consigned by Off the Hook LLC, agent and was purchased by Mayberry Farm. The filly had breezed an eighth-mile in 10 seconds flat during last week’s Under Tack show.
The chestnut Kentucky-bred is the second foal out of Eileen’s Dream, who is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Dream Rush.
In addition to his usual stellar sales results this year, Distorted Humor’s on-track performers include multiple graded stakes winner Honorable Duty, stakes winner Sonic Mule, and Grade 1-placed Comicas.
