Drosselmeyer 2YO filly chalks up second stakes victory

Yukon Belle, who won her debut in a stakes in late August, rang up her second black type win on Oct. 10 with a 2 1/2-length score in the $75,000 Fantasy S. at Hastings Park.

The Drosselmeyer filly was making her first start beyond 6 1/2-furlongs, but handled the task with ease, leading all the way as the even-money favorite to get the 1 1/16-miles in 1:45.29.

The winner was bred by Bryan and Carol Anderson and is owned by R. N. H. Stable. Yukon Belle is one of nine stakes horses this year by Drosselmeyer, who ranks in the top ten on the Second-Crop Sire list in that category as well as by winners, with 38 to date.
