Drosselmeyer tallies another stakes winner

Top-10 Second Crop Sire Drosselmeyer chalked up his latest stakes winner on Aug. 26 when the 2-year-old filly Yukon Belle won the $50,000 CTHS Sales S. in her first lifetime start.

The bay filly, racing in the colors of R. N. H. Stable, came from off the pace to capture the 6 1/2-furlong contest by a half-length.

Yukon Belle was bred by Bryan and Carol Anderson and is the first foal out of Queen On Line, who is a sister to a trio of stakes winners and hails from the same family as Grade 1 winner Pass the Line.

Drosselmeyer has 33 winners and seven stakes horses to date this year, both in the top-10 in their category on the Second-Crop Sire list.
