Exposure newest stakes winner for Colonel John

Colonel John, the leading 2016 Fourth-Crop sire of graded stakes horses, black type horses and winners, got his 20th lifetime black type horse on Saturday when Exposure battled to a neck victory in the $50,000 Albuquerque Distaff H.

The 4-year-old filly was pressured on the lead throughout the  one-mile contest, first by Babes Cylver Slew for the first half-mile, then Warrens Puppy Love in the final stages, with Exposure holding off her challengers to equal the track record.

Exposure is now 5-0-5 in 15 starts and has banked $123,057 for owners Go-To-Toga Racing and Bill and Susan Tomasic. Exposure sold for $310,000 a the 2014 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds.
