First Fed Biz Keeneland yearling hammers for $150,000

Fed Biz’s first yearling through the ring at the Keeneland September Yearling sale sold for 15 times his stud fee. 

Fed Biz’s first crop are yearlings of 2017 and have averaged $107,857 from 14 lots sold.

Hip No. 942 was consigned by Gainesway, agent and purchased by August Dawn Farm for $150,000. The filly is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Wild Summer, who is a sister to graded stakes winners Lewis Bay, Misconnect and Winslow Homer. 

The auction resumes on Saturday and runs through Sept. 23. Fed Biz has 43 lots in the remainder of the sale.
