Hold for More scores second stakes win of 2015

Hold for More chalked up yet another stakes win on July 19 when the 3-year-old son of Hold me Back rolled to a 7 ¼-length victory in the $55,000 MTA Stallion Auction Laddie S. at Canterbury Park.

Hold Me Back’s 31 winners to date rank third on the Second-Crop Sire list for 2015. Hold for More, the first three-time stakes winner by his sire, is also Hold Me Back’s leading earner this year. Hold Me Back is available this year for $2,500 live foal for mares on southern hemisphere time.

Hold for More turned in a thoroughly dominating performance in the Laddie, taking over with a half-mile to run while well in hand, then drawing off to win with ease. He covered the 6 ½-furlongs on a fast track in 1:19.24.

Trained by Francisco Bravo for Dale Schenian, Hold for More is 5-1-0 in six starts while earning $161,900 and hasn’t lost since his debut in August of 2014. Out of the Colin S. winner Miners Mirage, Hold for More is a half-brother to multiple stakes winners Beta Capo, Candy Box and Alpha Capo.
