Inside Straight Super Saver’s latest stakes winner

Super Saver, the nation’s leading cumulative Third-Crop Sire of stakes horses, got his latest black type winner on Aug. 1 when Inside Straight prevailed by 1 1/4-lengths in the $75,000 Manitoba Derby.

Already stakes-placed in his last start, Inside Straight went from fourth to first in a quarter mile, taking over the lead in mid-stretch to come home a clear winner under Scott Stevens.

Inside Straight has now won $181,071 and compiled a record of 4-1-2 in 12 starts. He’s owned by Randy Howg and trained by Robertino Diodoro.

Bred in Kentucky by SF Bloodstock, the winner is a half-brother to Santa Ynez S. (G2) winner Dance Daily.
