King Henry runs win streak to 3 in Penn Dash

King Henry became the latest stakes winner for his sire Congrats with an authoritative victory in the $50,000 Penn Dash on the inaugural Penn Mile card June 1 at Penn National.

For King Henry, it was the sprinter’s third straight win, as he dashed home in the five-furlongs contest in 57.44 seconds to prove best by 1 ¾ lengths on the wire. He increased his lifetime bankroll to $209,614, and has now won eight times – and been on the board 11 others – from 29 starts to date.

Owned by Ronald Ulrich and trained by Timothy Kreiser, King Henry was bred in Florida by Derek Thomas Evans and is out of the Woodman mare Wood Witch.
