Tiznow hit a new high-water mark during Day 3 of the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling sale when a filly brought a winning bid of $1.75 million from Borges Torrealba Holdings, agent.
The filly, a half-sister to Speightstown, currently the leading sire of 2013, was consigned by Taylor Made Sales agency and cataloged as hip No. 446.
“She comes from a stallion family, and that’s what we’re trying to build at Borges Torrealba,” winning bidder Goncalo Torrealba, whose family operates Stud TNT in Brazil, said. “We liked her.”
