Play StableMates Belmont Stakes Challenge!
Wednesday, June 04, 2014

WinStar Farm is pleased to announce the launch of the 2014 WinStar StableMates Belmont Stakes Challenge contest. The Belmont Stakes Challenge is free for racing fans, easy to play, and offers unique prizes.

Part of WinStar’s StableMates initiative for fans, the Belmont Stakes Challenge allows each participant to select in order the winner, runner-up, and third-place finisher of Saturday’s Belmont Stakes, with the goal of correctly selecting the “trifecta” horses. As a tiebreaker, participants are asked to choose margins in between each of the top four finishers in this year’s final jewel of the Triple Crown.

Elliott Walden, CEO of WinStar Farm, sees the Belmont Stakes Challenge as another step in WinStar’s broad desire to engage with ever more racing fans and Thoroughbred enthusiasts through the WinStar StableMates website.

“With a possible Triple Crown on the line for California Chrome, the WinStar StableMates Belmont Stakes Challenge contest makes it that much more exciting for fans to follow and get involved in what is truly one of America’s most historic events on the racing calendar,” said Walden. “The Belmont Stakes is the Test of Champions, and it’s a race that’s especially dear to WinStar, with Drosselmeyer having won it. Obviously, we are hoping that Commissioner can join the club this Saturday.”

“WinStar is committed to being a leader not only on the track and in breeding, but in all efforts in lifting the profile of Thoroughbred racing, especially connecting with our great fans through WinStar StableMates,” he added.

Prizes will be awarded for the first-place, second-place, and third-place finishers in the contest. First place will receive a Drosselmeyer Belmont prize pack featuring a Drosselmeyer halter and a Drosselmeyer commemorative canvas, and a complimentary Grade 2 Membership to WinStar StableMates for the rest of 2014. The runner-up will earn a WinStar stallion gift bag featuring Distorted Humor apparel, and a complimentary Grade 3 membership to WinStar StableMates for the rest of 2014. And the third-place finisher will receive a WinStar stallion hat prize pack and complimentary Cam Membership to WinStar StableMates for the rest of 2014. For more details on prizes, visit the contest website.

Fans must enter by a deadline of Saturday, June 7th at 5 pm, and select the Top 3 finishers with the margins tiebreaker, to play the Belmont Stakes Challenge and be eligible to win the prizes. Entry is quick, easy, and free to play. Fans can register to play today at http://stablemates2.winstarfarm.com/2014-belmont-stakes-contest/.
