Revolutionary filly scores by 4 ¼ in first stakes start

H. F. Carmel scored very impressively in her first try against stakes company, tallying a 4 1/4-length win in the $75,000 Tomboy S. May 12 at Belterra Park.

The 3-year-old Revolutionary filly campaigns in the name of her breeder, Dr. Harold Fishman and is 2-1-1 in five starts.

Coming from well off the pace in the 1 1/16-contest on a sloppy racetrack, H. F. Carmel, rallied up the rail in the final quarter-mile to win going away in dominating fashion.

Revolutionary was a graded winner at both three and four, and placed in the Kentucky Derby (G1). A son of champion War Pass, he stands at WinStar for $5,000, stands and nurses.
