Revolutionary weanling realizes $105,000 at Keeneland

A bay colt from the first crop of multiple graded stakes winner Revolutionary hammered for $105,000 on Tuesday at the Nov. 8-20 Keeneland November Sale.

The weanling colt, cataloged as hip No. 2752 and consigned by Warrendale Sales, agent, went to Whitechurch Bloodstock. The Kentucky-bred is the second foal out of Diamondsareforesta, whose dam Foresta set two track records and was a three-time Grade 2 winner. Diamondsareforesta is a a half-sister to Fordyce, dam of Beaumont S. (G2) winner Victory U. S. A.

Revolutionary, whose stakes victories include the Louisiana Derby (G2), Pimlico Special (G3) and Withers S. (G3), was bred to 255 mares his first two years at stud. He will stand the 2017 season at WinStar Farm for $7,500 live foal stands and nurses.
