Reynaldo’ scores yet another Group win

Grade 1 millionaire Reynaldothewizard remained undefeated on the dirt at Meydan, with a hard-fought victory in the $200,000 Al Shindagha Sprint (G3) today in the UAE.
 
The all-time leading earner by Speightstown, Reynaldothewizard is one of four stakes winners already this year for his sire, who reigns as North America’s second leading sire of stakes winners and stakes wins (6).
 
The 1,200 meter Sprint is a key prep for Reynaldo’s main goal, the $2,000,000 Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1), scheduled to be run on Saturday, March 28, Dubai World Cup Day, over the same distance and surface. Reynaldothewizard won the 2013 Golden Shaheen when it was run on all-weather.
 
Earlier this season Reynaldothewizard won the 1,200 meter Dubawi S. at Meydan by 3 3/4-lengths. The veteran runner has now amassed a record of nine wins in 23 starts and earnings of $1,858,340, led by three Group/Graded events. Bred in Kentucky by Gibraltar Group, Reynaldothewizard is trained by Satish Seemar, and races for Zabeel Racing International Corp.
