Speightstown colt warrants respect in Buffalo Man S.

Speightstown’s Full Salute wore down the leaders in the Gulfstream Park stretch en route to a one-length victory in Saturday’s $75,000 Buffalo Man S.

The winner, the first foal out of the black type winner Mazucambera, captured the Hall of Fame S. earlier this year and is now 3-3-0 in seven starts and has earned $199,295 for owner Morris Bailey.

Full Salute was a $130,000 purchase at the 2014 Keeneland January sale. He was bred in Kentucky by Lakland Farm.

Speightstown once again ranks in the top 10 on the General Sire list with nearly $9.5 million in progeny earnings. He’ll stand the 2016 season at WinStar Farm for $100,000 live foal.
