StableMates to offer Breeders' Cup contest
Monday, October 28, 2013

WinStar Stablemates is again holding its Breeders’ Cup contest with players choosing two horses in each of the 14 Breeders’ Cup races run over the two days of the championship event. With the entries drawing Monday, the contest will open on Tuesday at 7 pm on the WinStar Stablemates website, and fans will have a chance to pick their favorite horses.

“We are thrilled to bring WinStar’s Breeders’ Cup contest back to fans for another year,” said WinStar President & CEO Elliott Walden. “With this contest, we want to give the handicappers a real challenge, while providing all racing fans a fun way to connect with their favorite horses running in the Breeders’ Cup. We’re hopeful that this enhances the real fun of being at the Breeders’ Cup races on both days.”

Players will pick two horses for each race and have the opportunity to earn points calculated by each horse's earnings. Players will earn extra points for an “exacta bonus” if both of the selected horses in a respective Breeders’ Cup race finish first and second. The player with the most points will win this year’s contest, with daily winners also awarded for both Friday and Saturday.

The contest will be available at www.WinStarStableMates.com on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 pm. A full list of rules and prizes are available on the website. This year's Breeders' Cup World Championships will be held at Santa Anita on Nov. 1 & 2.
