Super Saver Rising Star dazzles at Los Alamitos

Super Majesty’s May 24 6-plus length debut score earned her a TDN Rising Star tag, but the 3-year-old daughter of Super Saver topped that race on July 5 with a spectacular 15 1/4-length allowance win at Los Alamitos (VIDEO).

Getting the six furlongs in 1:08.26, just .08 off the track record, the $400,000 Fasig-Tipton Florida March Yearling sale grad earned a sparkling Beyer Speed Figure of 100, marking the co-fastest Beyer earned by a 3-year-old filly this year along with Graded stakes winner Cavorting.

Super Majesty was bred by WinStar Farm and is out of Gins Majesty, winner of the Ballernia Breeders’ Cup S. (G3). Gins Majesty is a half-sister to 2009 Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) winner Dancing in Silks.

Super Saver’s first crop excelled in 2014, and that success has rolled into 2015. Led by multiple graded stakes winner Competitive Edge, his progeny have eclipsed the $1 million mark this year.
