Tiznow filly tops F-T NY Selected sale

Tiznow had the top-priced lot during the first session of the Aug. 15-16 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga New York Bred Preferred Yearlings auction, with McMahon and Hill Bloodstock, agent, going to $350,000 for hip No. 416, who was consigned by Summerfield, agent.

Out of Grade I winner Acey Deucey (Abaginone), the filly is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Preachintothedevil (Pulpit) and was bred by Stone Bridge Farm.

“She was a beautiful filly from a wonderful family,” said Vivien Malloy, whom for McMahon was bidding. “She is probably a two-turn filly. And she’s a New York-bred. So everything was good.”
