Tiznow's Modern chalks up fourth stakes win
Sunday, April 17, 2016
Modern dictated the pace throughout Sunday's $50,000 Swift Thoroughbreds Inaugural S. to chalk up his fourth stakes victory, and sixth overall, in his 21 lifetime starts.

The 6-year-old son of Tiznow has won or placed in nine stakes, and finished in the top three in two-thirds of his lifetime outings.

Modern was the first foal out of Interior Design, who is a full sister to Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner Tempera.

Modern was bred in Kentucky by Darley, who also campaigned Tempera.

Tiznow is the sire of more than 110 black type horses and 60 graded stakes horses lifetime. His graded horses in 2016 include Tourist, third in the Maker's 46 Mile (G1), Majesto, second in the Florida Derby (G1), and Donworth, third in the San Antonio S. (G2).
