Red Rifle fired off a winning salvo in his career debut Saturday at Gulfstream Park, as the WinStar Farms LLC and Twin Creeks Racing Stables LLC 3-year-old colt sped to a two-length victory in his first lifetime start.
Going seven furlongs in a full field of 12, Red Rifle battled with Bob and the Gang for five furlongs, then struck the front at the head of the lane, pulling away smartly in the final furlong to finish the distance in 1:23.84.
