Below is a video of the breeze show.
WinStar Farm announced today it will hold a Breeze Show on Tuesday Nov. 2nd in advance of their Keeneland November consignment of racehorses. The Versailles, Ky farm has nearly 50 racehorses cataloged (see website for complete list) in the upcoming sale and the show is intended to showcase some of the individuals that have no recent running lines. “We are pleased to give potential buyers the opportunity to see some of our sale horses workout and the chance to see our new training facility,” said WinStar Vice President and Racing Manager Elliott Walden.
The show kicks off at 9:00 am with a one-hour gallop session followed by a breeze session at 10:00 am. The remaining gallops will follow the breezes at approximately 11:30 am. The new training facility is adjacent to the WinStar main office on Pisgah Pike. A light breakfast and coffee will be served.
All horses will train over WinStar’s recently completed 7-furlong Polytrack surface training track, which is very similar in composition to Keeneland’s 5-furlong training track. Video of all gallops and works on the day will also be available for viewing the following afternoon on the WinStar Farm website.
A complete set list will be available for viewing at winstarfarm.com on Monday, Nov. 1st and all past performances/workout histories will be provided upon arrival.
