Play the '12 World Championship Challenge!
Tuesday, October 30, 2012

WinStar Farm is pleased to announce the return of its hugely popular interactive contest centered on the two top class days of racing offered by this year’s Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita Park, Nov. 2 and 3. The WinStar World Championship Challenge promises once again to be the most fun, challenging and interactive contest in Thoroughbred racing.

The World Championship Challenge will give players plenty of action on Breeders’ Cup day. Contestants will select two horses to root for in each Breeders’ Cup race to accumulate purse earnings, including an additional bonus for hitting the Exacta in each race. The contest will cater to both seasoned handicappers and race day fans alike.

Fantastic prizes will be awarded to the winners of each day based on the highest dollar amount, along with a grand prize for the overall, 2-day winner with the overall highest dollar amount. First prize will be 2 tickets to the 2013 Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita Park. The contest is part of the overall broad offerings found in the highly popular WinStar StableMates program. For more, go to http://stablemates2.winstarfarm.com/.

According to Elliott Walden, President of WinStar Farm: “With this contest, we want to give the handicappers a good challenge, and at the same time provide all racing fans a fun way to connect with their favorite horses running in the Breeders’ Cup. This contest replicates and enhances the real fun of being at the Breeders’ Cup races on both days.”

WinStar Farm’s Leanna Packard, added: “Fans seem to really enjoy WinStar’s contests. This contest epitomizes some of the very best features offered by our WinStar StableMates program: fantastic Thoroughbred fan experiences mixed well with online interaction and fun.”

Entry is quick and easy, and the Challenge is free to play. Fans can register to play the WinStar World Championship Challenge at http://stablemates2.winstarfarm.com/contest/.
