WinStar Farm is pleased to announce the highly anticipated return of its very popular Fantasy Derby contest. Fantasy Derby 2012 is free for racing fans, easy to play, and offers the very best in possible prizes.
Fantasy Derby 2012, part of WinStar StableMates, allows each fan to name his or her own Fantasy Stable, and then select horses in different categories, all with the goal of establishing the “winning” stable.
Elliott Walden, CEO of WinStar Farm, sees Fantasy Derby 2012 as another step in WinStar Farm’s broad desire to engage with ever more racing fans and thoroughbred enthusiasts through WinStar StableMates: “This contest makes it really easy for fans to get interested in the Derby Prep races, and get to know and follow the horses who are on the Derby watch lists.”
Winners will be determined by who has the most Fantasy Stable earnings through the contest period. Fantastic prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 finishers. First Prize is 2 VIP tickets to the 2012 Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby including Accommodation for two nights. Second and third prize are 2 VIP tickets to the Kentucky Derby and Oaks respectively. Fourth prize is a complimentary one year Grade 2 WinStar StableMates membership; with competitors finishing from 5thto 10th place receiving a complimentary one year Grade 3 WinStar StableMates membership. All prizes include a‘behind-the-scenes’ VIP guided tour of WinStar Farm on Friday May 4th.
Fans must enter and have until noon, Saturday, February 18th to select their ‘Stable’ to play and be eligible to win the prizes.
