WinStar’s Super Name Sweepstakes

Ever wanted to name a thoroughbred? How about a brother to a Kentucky Derby winner? WinStar Farm has launched a “Super Name Sweepstakes” where participants will have the opportunity to name Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver’s half brother.

All you have to do is come up with a creative name for the 2010 foal out of the dam Supercharger by the stallion Medaglia D’Oro. All entries must be submitted by no later than 6:00 p.m. Saturday May 15. So enter now!

You will be automatically entered into the "Super Name Sweepstakes" by submitting a creative name for the 2010 foal and updating your profile.

If WinStar selects your name as the winning entry for the half brother to Super Saver, you will receive:

    * Naming rights to the 2010 foal out of Supercharger by Medaglia d’Oro (subject to Jockey Club approval) and;
    * Fifty percent (50%) of any winnings resulting from a $1,000 bet to be placed by WinStar Farm on Super Saver in the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 15, 2010 (the remaining fifty percent (50%) of any winnings will be distributed to a charity of WinStar Farm’s choice) and;
    * A $100 gift certificate to the WinStar Farm online store.

In addition, a random drawing will be held to choose a Second Prize winner ($50 gift certificate to the WinStar Farm online store) and a Third Prize winner ($25 gift certificate to the WinStar Farm online store).
