You Know Too sparkles in debut for Colonel John

Colonel John’s debuting 2-year-old filly You Know Too turned in one of the most impressive juvenile performances this year Thursday at Delaware Park, romping to a six-length maiden special weight victory under a hand ride.

Breaking from the outside in the field of six, You Know Too grabbed the lead early on, was hustled to the rail, and never threatened at any point as he strode home powerfully under no urging (VIDEO).

Bred in Kentucky by WinStar Farm, You Know Too is out of Palais Versailles, who is a half-sister to Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) winner George Vancouver and Remsen S. (G2) winner Saarland.

With 75 winners and four stakes horses to date, Colonel John leads all Fourth-Crop sires in both categories. His runners this year have banked in excess of $2.4 million.
