Fed Biz's first offering during Monday's opening session of the Aug. 6-7 Saratoga Select Yearlings sale attracted plenty of attention from bidders, ultimately selling for $325,000 to Thomas Haughey on behalf of PTK, LLC.
Consigned by Bluewater Sales agency and cataloged as hip No. 107, the dark bay filly is out of the Street Cry (IRE) mare Shriek and is a half-sister to Paid Up Subscriber, a multiple graded stakes winner of $862,850.
Fed Biz's first crop are 2-year-olds of 2018, with two dominating maiden special weight winners to date. His sales results have been stellar this year as well, with 2-year-olds up to $725,000 and a top-five yearling sire by average.
