A $425,000 colt consigned by Niall Brennan Stables led a strong group of More Than Ready’s offspring during the second session of the OBS March Sale of Selected 2-year-olds in Training.
Cataloged as hip No. 359, the dark bay juvenile went to China Horse Club and WinStar Farm. The Kentucky bred hails from the same family as Pennsylvania Derby (G2) winner Love of Money.
More Than Ready also had a $300,000 filly sell during the first day of the March 15-16 auction. Also consigned by Brennan, hip No. 89 went to Jay Hanley. The filly’s female family is loaded with black type, including second dam Flagbird, a multiple group winner and highweight in Europe, as well as the like of Prospectors Delite and Runup the Colors, both Grade 1 winners.
More Than Ready had total of six lots sell during the auction, for an average of $194,500.
