More Than Ready had his best results of the auction during Wednesday’s session of the Keeneland September Yearling sale when Juddmonte Farms went to $550,000 for a filly by the leading international sire.
Cataloged as hip No. 853 and consigned by Indian Creek, agent, the filly is out of Tare Green, a daughter of Giant’s Causeway, who is a half-sister to Champion Grass Horse Leroidesanimaux (BRZ). Tare Green descends from the family of Juddmonte’s blue hen mare Hasili (IRE), dam of three of the farm’s champions.
More Than Ready has had a total of 11 lots sell for an average of $259,090 through the first three days of the auction, which runs through Sept. 23. He has 36 individuals remaining in the catalog.
