A filly from the first crop of Grade 1 winner Audible topped the Sunday session of the Keeneland November Sale when hip No. 1801 brought a winning bid of $360,000.
Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency for breeder Fred Hertrich III, the filly was purchased by Bill and Susan Casner. The chestnut juvenile is out of the Flatter mare Nagambie, who is a half-sister to Santa Margarita S. (G1) winner Fault.
Nagambie is also the dam of the 2-year-old filly Juju’s Map, winner of this year’s Alcibiades S. (G1) and second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1).
“She was a lovely filly,” said Katie Cauthen, who was bidding on behalf of the Casners. “We liked the physical and we really liked the update. Bill Casner really loved her walking video. He's trusted us for a long time and we are glad to have her.”
Audible, who will stand the 2022 season for $22,500 S&N, bred a total of 408 mares in his first two years at stud. Audilbe’s weanlings have averaged $115,583 to date, the second-most of any First-Crop sire.
