Congrats filly super-sharp in Tampa score

Flashing enormous potential once again, Kinsley Kisses turned in another extraordinary performance Sunday at Tampa Bay Downs, rolling to a seven-length allowance victory, her second win in as many starts.

The 3-year-old daughter of Congrats, who earned an 86 Beyer Speed Figure when breaking her maiden by 2 ¼-lengths at Gulfstream Park on Jan. 16, looked even more impressive on Sunday. After breaking between horses, she went to the front without any urging under Manny Cruz.

After a half-mile in a very fleet :45.25, Kinsley Kisses drew off in the stretch under her own power, coasting across the finish line in 1:23.17 for the seven furlongs.

Owner Cheyenne Stable acquired Kinsley Kisses at the 2014 Keeneland September sale for $200,000, where she was sold by her breeder Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings. Kinsley Kisses’ dam Winter Forest is a full sister to stakes winner Ever Elusive.

Congrats, a perennial leading sire of winners, leads all North American sires in 2016 by stakes winners (6) and stakes wins (8) and is third on the General Sire list with $1.9 million in progeny earnings.
