Fed Biz colt prevails in Gulfstream Park debut

Top-10 First-Crop sire Fed Biz tallied his seventh winner Saturday at Gulfstream Park when Zenden rallied to break his maiden at first asking.

The chestnut colt had to overcome a rough start, where he was bumped a few times, before finding his best stride in upper stretch to ultimately roll by pacesetter Jamaican inside the final sixteenth to win by nearly two lengths in 1:11.62 for the six furlongs.

Zenden is owned by Pichi Investments and was bred by Brent and Beth Harris in Kentucky. He is out of You Laughin, a half-sister to three-time Grade 1 winner Sweet Reason and Grade 3 winner Don’t Forget Gil.

Fed Biz’s first crop has been sensational throughout September, racking up five maiden special weight wins. He also was represented by his first stakes horse when Bizwhacks placed in the Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf S.
