Gemologist colt back to winning ways

Graded stakes winner Golden Diamond returned to the winner’s circle on June 11 with a two-length allowance win going 1 1/8-miles at Camarero Race Track in Puerto Rico.

Winner of the George Washington S. (G3) in February, Golden Diamond has finished in the top three in six of his ten starts for owner G. L. A. Stable.

The winner was bred in Kentucky by Brandywine Farm and is a half-brother to the stakes winner Le Em Shine.

Gemologist is a top-10 Second Crop Sire of 2017, with his runners earning in excess of $1 million to date. In addition to Golden Diamond, Gemologist is represented this year by stakes-placed winners Aquamarine and Gemologister.
