Bahama Halo and Noble Ready completed a More Than Ready stallion exacta in a six-furlong Belmont Park maiden special weight race on June 22.
The WinStar stallion leads all active sires of 2-year-olds in 2016 with six winners to date. Also annually near the top of the General Sire list, More Than Ready ranks in the Top 10 this year by black type winners and black type wins.
Bahama Halo dominated his competition with his 5 3/4-length score in 1:10 3/5 on the firm turf, while Noble Ready was clear by 3 1/4-lengths from third-place finisher Forres Lily (VIDEO).
Bahama Halo, owned by Let’s Go Stable, was a $350,000 sales purchase at the 2015 Keeneland September Yearling sale, while Cheyenne Stables was the winning bidder, at $180,000, for Noble Ready at the 2014 Keeneland November sale.
Bahama Halo is the first foal out of Grade 2-placed Bahama Bound, and Noble Ready is a full sister to recent Intercontinental S. winner Zindaya.
