The first session of the Keeneland September Yearling sale included a $460,000 colt by leading international sire More Than Ready, whose double-digit number of stakes winners in 2016 include six graded winners.
Betz Thoroughbreds Inc., agent consigned hip No. 115, which went to Let’s Go Stable and Stonestreet Stable. The colt’s deep female family includes his third dam, millionaire Colonial Waters, Grade 1 winners Southern Sultan and Success Brocken.
More Than Ready has a total of 65 lots cataloged in the sale, which runs through Sept. 25.
