Overanalyze filly very sharp in Del Mar maiden special weight win

Piedi Bianchi leveled off nicely in the final furlong of her five-furlong maiden special weight win Saturday at Del Mar, winning in hand by 1 ¼-lengths to become Overanalyze’s 14th winner from his first crop.

Overanalyze, who stood for $10,000 this year at WinStar Farm, has four more winners than any other First-Crop Sire and is the only one with progeny earnings of more than $500,000 to date.

Piedi Bianchi was third most of the way before swinging out three-wide in the stretch and finding her best stride late to easily run by Chatty and stop the timer in :57.93 on the fast track.

The winner is owned by Nice Guys Stables and was bred by Deann and Greg Barr. Piedi Bianchi is out of the stakes-placed mare Adore You and is a half-sister to this year’s Snack S. winner Mind Reader.
