Piedi Bianchi goes last to first in $150,000 Frances Slocum S.

Piedi Bianchi became Overanalyze’s latest stakes winner on Nov. 6 when the 3-year-old filly rallied to win the $150,000 Frances Slocum S. at Indiana Downs by 2 1/2-lengths.

Shipping in from her New York base for trainer Todd Pletcher, Piedi Bianchi was in the back of the pack early in the 1 1/16-mile contest. She began her long rally with a half-mile to go, steadily advancing until she hit the front with a furlong to run, then drew clear late to get the distance in 1:44.36.

Piedi Bianchi began her career in California, where she was twice Grade 1-placed at two. With Tuesday’s win, she is now 2-3-3 in 10 starts and has earned $356,100 for Nice Guys Stables, Jack Bick and Jay Oringer.

Piedi Bianchi’s stakes-placed dam Adore You is a sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Vivaldi Girl (G1) and is the dam of stakes winner Mind Reader.

Overanalyze, last year’s leading Freshman Sire, is a top-10 sire this year as well, with progeny earnings over $2.3 million. He will stand next year at WinStar Farm for $15,000 live foal, stands and nurses.
