Revolutionary filly shines in debut victory

My Time to Shine took the spotlight in her Sept. 4 racing debut, surging in the final furlong to win a 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight contest for 2-year-old fillies by one length (VIDEO).

Owned by her breeders Dana Holt and Ted Lucas, My Time to Shine is one of five winners out of Look Whos a Star, a sister to a trio of stakes winners and from the same family as multiple graded stakes winner Wall Street Dancer.

Revolutionary’s first crop of runners are led by Maiden Beauty, who won her first start in the $100,000 Lynbrook S. and has since finished second in the $200,000 Seeking the Ante S. at Saratoga.
