Sisterly Love strolls to Keeneland victory

Bellamy Road’s Grade 3-winning filly Sisterly Love zipped to a 2 1/4-length score Friday during opening day at Keeneland, taking the field in gate-to-wire fashion in the classified allowance affair at 1 1/16-miles on the main track (VIDEO).

Ridden by Stewart Elliott for owner Gary Barber, Sisterly Love was never seriously threatened as she controlled the pace throughout. A winner of the Ontario Matron S. (G3) and Trillium S., Sisterly Love is now 6-1-1 in 13 starts, earning $367,004.

Sisterly Love is one of Bellamy Road’s five winners in the past week, a group that includes Violet H. winner Joyous Music.
