William J. Butler and WinStar Farm’s multiple Graded stakes-winning millionaire My Mane Squeeze took home a trio of awards at the annual New York Breeders Awards on Monday, May 19.

Trained by Mike Maker, the now 4-year-old filly from the first crop of WinStar stallion Audible earned Champion 3-Year-Old Filly and Champion Female Sprinter honors as well as Horse of the Year for a 9-4-2-1 campaign that included a pair of Graded stakes wins. She won the Eight Belles S. (G2) on Kentucky Derby weekend at Churchill Downs before returning to the Louisville oval last September to win the Dogwood S. (G3) by 5 lengths. Additionally, she finished 3rd in the Test S. (G1).

My Mane Squeeze has built on her accolades from last season. She made her 2025 debut in the Madison S. (G1) at Keeneland, finishing third, and followed that effort with a third-place finish in the Ruffian S. (G3) at Belmont at the Big A. Overall, she has earned $1,118,085 while compiling a record of 15-6-2-5.

My Mane Squeeze is a second generation New York homebred for co-owner William J. Butler and is out of the Speightstown mare In Spite of Mama, who also produced stakes winners Rotknee and Mama’s Gold.
