Pioneerof the Nile filly brings $700,000 Saturday at Keeneland

Pioneerof the Nile continued to be one of the hottest sires at the 2018 Keeneland September Yearling sale during Saturday’s session when a filly consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency sold for $700,000.

The dark bay filly, hip No. 1055, went to leading buyer Stonestreet Stables. The filly is out of the Grade 2-placed mare Live for Now, who is a half-sister to Horse of the Year Point Given.

Saturday’s session was the first of the sale’s Book 2. During Book 1, Pioneerof the Nile had a pair of $1 million sellers, as well as a $950,000 colt.
