SW #14 for leading sire Distorted Humor

Infinite Resource became the 14th stakes winner for Distorted Humor, tops among all North American stallions, on July 12 with his win in the $100,000 San Juan County Commissioners H. at SunRay Park in New Mexico.

The 7-year-old chestnut horse came from seventh with three furlongs to go to get up by three-quarters of a length in the 1 1/8 mile contest. The veteran campaigner has been judiciously handled throughout his career, with 25 starts, and a record of 5-4-4 with earnings of $157,759 to his credit.

Infinite Resource was bred in Kentucky by Grade 1, Tony Holmes and Walter Zent. He is now owned by Michael Malouff, Jr.

In addition to leading the nation in stakes winners and wins, Distorted Humor is also fourth on the general sire list by earnings. His top earners this year are a trio of 3-year-old colts who are all graded stakes winners: Alternation, Machen, and Brethren.
